It’s that time of the year again. Mariah Carey is blowing out the speakers, decorated trees arise in all homes and at We Buy Apples we’ll provide a recap with every product and every notable innovation from our favorite tech company. So let’s cut to the chase and get started with a list of all interesting Apple releases in 2021.
One of the most (if not the most) important Apple releases in 2021 was that of the iPhone 13. There’s no denying that. The tech giant upgraded the camera, battery and processor of their new showpiece but it still remains to be seen whether that’s enough reason for people with newer phones like the iPhone 12 to buy the new model. As with its notorious phones and laptops Apple also gave its well-known iPads an update with the new iPad Pro 2021 and iPad Mini 2021. While the latter also is completely redesigned, this year’s iPad models are now featured with better screen qualities, faster chips and a heavily improved camera. All welcome enhancements that make these new models good for years to come.

Yes, most Apple releases in 2021 perform better than their predecessors (but that’s basically mandatory for new releases). However, we can’t say we have seen some revolutionary innovations in the products this year. Aside from Apple App Tracking Transparency, it seems Apple decided to recycle innovations from previous devices or competitors and subsequently sell them as brand new features. Maybe the most remarkable change in 2021 was the radical U-turn made with Apple Self Service - and that says a lot.
